Saint Mary's Art (S.M.ART)

Mission Statement
The mission of S.M.ART (St. Mary’s Art) Program is to provide fine arts curriculum support to our staff as they endeavor to teach both skills and an appreciation of God’s love for us manifested in creative expression.  Our efforts will be aimed at enriching the current Arts Attack curriculum through art history and related hands-on projects to develop artistic skills.  The S.M.ART program will be offered to grades K-8 in a parent-teacher cooperative to ensure accreditation guidelines/standards are met.  S.M.ART parent volunteers will look for opportunities to expose and promote St. Mary’s School to the greater Spokane community, thereby fulfilling long range plans modified in 2007.
