Students explore music through listening, responding, creating and performing using their bodies, voices, and instruments.

The Music Curriculum at St. Mary’s is aligned with the Spokane Diocesan Music Curriculum which is based on the National Music Standards for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Students in Grades 5 and 6 may elect to participate in the band program administered by Gonzaga Prep High School.

Music classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Friday mornings. Students in Kindergarten meet once a week for music. Students in Grades 1 through 6 meet twice weekly.
